Pet Portraits

​I love variety in my job as a portrait artist and it's always fun when a customer includes their furry friends in the portrait. 

Two of my favourite recent commissions included pets. One was a gift for a first wedding anniversary and since the bride couldn't have her two gorgeous cats at the ceremony, her husband commissioned a painting of the wedding with cats Humphrey and Bailey included! The other commission was a gift for the customer's partner of him and his two enormous, beautiful German Shepherds with a sunset background. 

The most unusual pet portrait I've done was of four spectacular fish - Guillermo, Dane Rumble, Arancini and Sesame. It was so fun to paint them with all the little quirky details.
