Decorating your child’s room can be a special way of preparing for their birth or connecting with your toddler or older child. For kiwi kids, art can be a way to link them to their roots and help them learn about the country they live in. For my nursery art collection, I have included a series of Native New Zealand creatures along with their Te Reo Māori names. The pekapeka or long tailed bat is perhaps the cutest painting ever and the baby kiwi is a classic addition to any tiny New Zealander’s room. Especially for those girls or boys who love all things princessy I created the Fairytale Princesses of Aotearoa collection. Featuring Rugby Red Riding Hood, The Princess and the Poi and more. Also included in my nursery art collection are two of my kiwiana prints – A pair of jandals with the classic bread tag fix and the iconic buzzy bee toy taking off from a gumboot.
Both the princess prints and the native creatures paintings come in sets of three at a discounted price so you can pick and choose your favourites. Check out the whole collection by clicking the link below! Comments are closed.
